Towing done right
Some of the most affordable towing in the Coeur d’Alene area.
We offer the same services and the same insurance coverage as the bigger companies, at a better rate. That’s possible because our customers keep coming back and keep sending their friends.
Whether it’s a dead pickup in your driveway in Hayden, a car that quit on Seltice Way in Post Falls, or a project car that needs to get to the shop in Rathdrum, give us a call. We’ll ask a few quick questions, give you a price and an honest arrival time, and take it where it needs to go: home, your mechanic, or our secure storage.
Crash or blocking traffic? Call 911 first.
Police direct towing at crash scenes and on the highway. If the officer lets you choose a company, you can ask for C.A.R.S. of Idaho. For everything else, call us directly.
What we tow
- Cars, minivans and crossovers
- Pickups and SUVs, 2WD, AWD and 4×4
- Motorcycles
- Utility, cargo and camper trailers
- Boats on their trailers
- Non-running, wrecked and project vehicles
- Junk vehicles (we haul them away)
Something big or unusual, like a loaded flatbed, a large RV or heavy equipment? Call and describe it. If it’s not a job for our trucks, we’ll tell you who to call.
Roadside help
Sometimes you don’t need a tow at all.
A lot of “I need a tow” calls end with the car driving away under its own power. If we can fix it at the curb, we will.
Lockouts
Keys on the seat, kids or pets inside, trunk latched shut. We open most cars, trucks and SUVs without damage. If a child or pet is in a hot or cold car, call 911 first.
Jump-starts
Dead battery on a sub-zero morning? We bring the power. If the battery won’t take a charge, we’ll tell you, and tow you if needed.
Fuel delivery
Ran it dry on the way to the lake? We bring enough fuel to get you to the nearest station.
Flat tires
We swap your flat for your spare. No usable spare? We’ll tow you to a tire shop.
Winch-outs
Slid into a ditch or snowbank and the vehicle is otherwise fine? A winch-out usually costs less than a tow and gets you moving fast.
Junk vehicle removal
That car that hasn’t moved in three summers? We haul it off. Have the title handy if you can.
Off-road & winter recovery
Stuck where the pavement ends? That’s our kind of call.
North Idaho driving means icy grades, forest roads, trailheads and lake accesses that turn to soup in spring. We do off-road recoveries: pulling vehicles out of ditches, snow, mud and soft shoulders, and getting them back to solid ground with as little damage as possible.
When you call, tell us exactly where you are (a mile marker, a forest road number or a GPS pin texted to us is perfect), how the vehicle is sitting, and whether anyone is hurt. If anyone is injured, or the vehicle is on its side or blocking a highway, call 911 first.
- Stay safe first
Hazards on. If you’re on a highway shoulder, it’s usually safest to stay buckled in your vehicle, unless it’s in a spot where it could be hit and you can get well away from traffic.
- Send us your location
Call or text (208) 964-3081. A dropped pin by text gets us there fastest.
- Don’t spin the tires
Spinning digs you deeper and can damage the transmission. Wait for the winch.
- We pull you out and look it over
Once you’re on solid ground, we check that it’s safe to drive. If it isn’t, we tow it.
How it works
What happens when you call.
- You call or text
Tell us where the vehicle is, what it is and where it needs to go.
- We give you a price and a time
An honest estimate of when we’ll get there and what it will cost. No surprises.
- We load it carefully
Secured properly for the trip, with photos if there’s existing damage.
- Drop-off where you choose
Your home, your mechanic, a dealership, or our secure storage until you decide.
Have this ready when you call
- Your exact location: address, cross street, mile marker or a dropped pin
- Year, make and model, and whether it’s AWD or 4×4
- What happened: won’t start, flat, accident, stuck
- Whether it rolls, steers and shifts into neutral
- Where it’s going, and whether someone will be there
- Where the keys are
We take cash, checks and cards (cards carry a small processing fee).
Slow down, move over
Idaho’s Move Over law (Idaho Code 49-624) protects tow operators just like police and EMTs. When you approach a stopped tow truck with flashing lights, slow down below the speed limit, and on a road with two or more lanes in your direction, move out of the lane next to it when it’s safe. Our crews, and every tow operator in Idaho, thank you.
